Science in the Park

Last week the Y1 classes visited Hainault Park.

We looked at the way the seasons have changed and the impact on the environment.

Some trees loose their leaves and others don't.

They produce fruits and seeds which we collected.

This visit also inspired us to write some Autumn poems.

Reception day trip to Hayes Hill Farm.

Hayes Hill Farm visit.

June 6th 2013

On Thursday, the sun shone all day and we had a fantastic time at Hayes Hill Farm in Waltham Abbey.

Our class were a real credit to John Bramston Primary, whereby all pupils were exceptionally well behaved.

Thanks to all the adults who looked our children and made our trip so fun and enjoyable.

Take a look at some of our memorable moments of the day.

We saw a variety of animals and we managed to have time to play in the outdoors.

There's something creeping, crawling and slithering around in here!

Today we were visited by Vic Taylor who brought in some very interesting mini- beasts and other creepy-crawlies.

Take a look at how brave we were looking at 'BIG DADDY' the corn snake from North America.

We are holding 'GREEDY SPEEDY' the cockroach from
Madagascar.

Here is 'MILLY' the Millipede from Kenya and 'BIG SAM' the giant African lamb snail from Nigeria.
