Diwali Celebrations

During this week and last week, we have been learning about the Hindu festival of light 'Diwali'.

We have celebrated together by dressing up, learning bollywood dancing, cooking indian sweets (Barfi), writing about Rama and Sita and making rangoli patterns and Diva Lamps.

It has been really fun!

As part of our maths lesson this week, we have been learning to recognise numerals 0-15. We have also been learning to order numbers correctly and match sets of objects to their corresponding numbers.

To celebrate Guy Faulkes night, we became fireworks in our dance lesson.

We have been learning to name our body parts and

we have learned a new song in class.
