Buildings survey in Hanault
On Wednesday we walked around the local streets to try and identify different buildings that people might live in.
We found different houses, detached, semi-detached and terraced.
There were flats where the stairs were inside and Maisonette's where the stairs were outside.
The children also saw bungalows.
Later we collected data about the homes we live in.

Science in the Park
Last week the Y1 classes visited Hainault Park.
We looked at the way the seasons have changed and the impact on the environment.
Some trees loose their leaves and others don't.
They produce fruits and seeds which we collected.
This visit also inspired us to write some Autumn poems.
